Trip to San Francisco, August 2006

Shell Vacation Club invited us to a San Francisco vacation, staying at the Sheraton Hotel -- who cold resist? After all, we had been totally resistant to timeshare offers before. We stopped in Paso Robles on the way. Arriving early in SF, we stopped at the new DeYoung Museum, and viewed the city from the tower, with its Incredible 360° floor of windows. Of course we had to explore the Fisherman's wharf area, walk our favorite path along the Marina to Fort Point and the Presidio, and stop for an Irish Coffee at the Buena Vista Cafe. To celebrate our buy-in to SVC, (next page) we had breakfast at Guirardelli Square and a scrumtous dinner at Scoma's.
