AAUW Gourmet Mystery Party 2008

For Honky Tonk Homicide, Kara and George prepared an elaborate setting, going as far as to replace their dining room chandelier for the ocassion.
Here was our menu:

Bar Room Brisket
Smashed Taters
Gunshot Green Beans
Redneck Rolls
Aunt Bea's Fruit Pie

The play consisted of several acts, coordinated with the dinner. All participants had a program that explained their character and set up grounds for lots of questions. Everyone had to answer and no one was allowed to lie. Everyone had a motive, but, in the end, the murderer was none other than the nice old Preacher, Jim Bob Eternity! Finally, we each went home with a door prize, shown below, to help us remember the evening.
