"Beauty, Inside & Out"'

Our April 1st program of “Beauty, Inside & Out” at the newly expanded Village Coffee Shop, Vandenberg Village Shopping Center, was enjoyed for the tasty, fresh and large portioned lunch, enhanced by the casual and cheerful ambience of our host, Village Coffee Shop. We all appreciated the beauty tips communicated by our Laura Lee Parks (“We’re all beautiful when we let our inner zest for life surface in our attitudes, facial expressions & communications.”). Val Avants, manager of Long’s Pharmacy, spoke to us on the pros & cons of many popular “natural” health products and the common sense approach of consulting with your physician to be sure these remedies do not “clash” with prescribed medication, and to listen to your body’s reactions when using these remedies.
